In a surprising collaboration that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Uncovered
According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of forbidden practices and terrifying changes resonate through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden group.
The mission focuses on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Metamorphoses
The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Additional Material
Players who finish the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to numerous objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
